Liv ur Life

The story of a socially awkward underdog

30 Day Blog Challenge
Day 06 - Whatever tickles your fancy

I could rattle off a whole list of stuff that 'tickles my fancy': Tablet PCs, scooters, Jap bentos, watching movies with friends, sitting on a porch swing with a good book, non-handmedown clothing, bungee jumping off the Eiffel Tower, having the liberty to control the TV remote, flipping through Nat Geo magazines and cutting out the best pictures, dining at a revolving restaurant... okie let's just stop here for now. =D

But you know what doesn't tickle my fancy? Posh idioms like 'tickle my fancy'. They remind me of those aristocratic women with long, powdered noses who excessively use sophisticated phrases to sound high class.

Quick update now... Keet's birthday bash is tomorrow! Happy Birthday Keets! It'll be the first time ever that I'm going to my friend's party without my sis or parents. I-I'm having one of those moments where I'm actually starting to feel grown-up. (wipes tears of joy with the baby bib around my neck). Heh. I know that it doesn't necessarily mean I'm grown-up. Besides, if Keets didn't live so extremely near to us, one of my parents would've wanted to tag along for whatever safety reasons. To whoever's going to Keet's party, cya soon!
